First Lutheran
This is a pretty special church to me. It is not my home church right now but this is where my wife and I got married 9 years ago. It is where my niece and nephew were baptized along with many other special events in my life.

That is great and that blue sky...wow! I wish we would see some blue skies here...it is always dark and grey!

I think it's really great to take photos of emotionally meaningful subjects,like this one for you. On POTD, I find that to be a challenge, finding the balance between something that's interesting to photograph. . . but not necessarily emotionally meaningful.

ReplyDeleteI like your vignette on this one, and the deep blue sky! I think you have good composition, and you did a good job deciding where to cut off the bottom, you eliminated a lot of possible distracting elements! :)
ReplyDelete(i.e. I think it's funny when people photograph these beautiful churches, but on the bottom are tons of streets...parked cars...pedestirans...signs etc!) You were able to capture the true beauty!
