Stockings By The Fire

We wanted to capture a really cool picture with stockings hung by the fire. Man I think we took a few hundred shots and I am happy with what we got but I had something else in mind of what it would turn out like. I also realized we missing a few names on most of those stockings :o)

    Really interesting color action on this, Jason. It really spotlights the stockings well.

    As for the leaf--it was just frozen under the ice on the driveway. I didn't have to do anything except focus and shoot.

    Great PPing. Great colors. I knwo what you mean about taking hendreds of shots to get the ones you are happy with. I do that on things way too often..

    I really like how this turned out, Jason. It looks like a vintage action, with selective coloring, and this seems to work really well for this photo. Very creative!
