We were on the way to Steve and Shari’s house and we got stopped at our intersection because a train was stopped. After waiting a while I ended up going a different direction. Here is what I found at the other end of the train. It was pretty windy here today and one of the crossing arms snapped. I grabbed my camera and got some shots of the train going through the arms… Man I wish the train could have been on the other side of the tracks, the lighting would have been so much better :o)

What great action pictures! Lucky you that you were there to photograph it. I love train pictures!
That's kinda scary actually. Trains are one of those things that scare me. Great shots though, the color looks good.
Cool shots!
i've been wanting to get some train pics lately.....dd loves them!
That's so cool. Perfect opportunity to catch it. I'm going to show this to my little man, he will totally dig it too.
So you were the crazy person standing by the tracks lol.. I did that once and the "rush" is crazyness! Love these!
Impressive! These would look cool in b&w as well!
Cool shots! What to take advantage of having to sit there, so glad you had your camera!
Great pictures. I just love trains! I like the colors on these.
Those are some really awesome photos. I love trains (but I have never been on one and would love to) Great angle on these shots too.
GREAT shots! That first one is almost scary, I want to yell at the guy to move out of the way! LOL!
Choo choo! You're funny about wishing the train was going the other way. I guess it's not really true that objects are more cooperative than people. :-)
I need to go shoot by some trains too, I love the graffitti on them usually.
