French Silk Pie

Oh good stuff! I love French Silk pie. I picked this pie up a few days ago and tried to get a few shots of it before I devoured it. I had a hard time getting the right exposure with it but had fun. I am looking forward to trying to learn how to shoot some food and make it look appetizing, it is so much more work than you would think.

That looks yummy. I agree about the food shots. I tried to get some sauce cooking for today's shot & it just couldn't make it look appetizing. Your pie looks v. good!

Nice photos, but I think I'm most impressed that you've had it for a few days and it's still intact. :-)

Mmmmm looks yum! Food shots are my fave.

I like to get almost on level with it and shoot with a somewhat shallow DOF, to catch the detail and texture. Grab some pics of a slice of it too, so you can see the inside!

That pie looks good. It wouldn't have been around my house long enough for many pictures, I tell ya.
